Golden State Warriors star shooting guard Klay Thompson recently did a AMA series on Reddit, and the sharpshooter revealed that he jumps into his cold pool every morning during a home game to wake him up and jumpstart his day.
Klay Thompson is just like everyone else. He has trouble getting out of bed and is still tired after he wakes up. So, the four-time All-Star dives into his cold pool in an effort to start his day on the right foot.
“Uh not really, it's pretty routine. The one thing I always have to do that I don't truly enjoy until it's done. I get my pool as cold as possible, and before I do anything in the morning I try and roll out of bed and jump in the pool, just to jump start and wake me up. Get me alive and well to start the day. I started doing that about a year ago and it works so well for me that I still do it. It sucks at first, because being cold isn't fun, but afterwards you feel great. I can't do cold showers though, cold water? A plunge? For sure.”

Not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford a pool like Klay Thompson, but it's good to know the Warriors star is using it for good purposes.
In 23 games this season, Klay Thompson is averaging 22.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 34.8 percent from beyond the arc.
