Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry says that a recent letter from a nine-year-old girl was a real eye-opener for both himself and Under Armour.

Curry received the letter a few days ago from a little girl named Riley Morrison, who expressed her disappointment upon realizing that there were no Curry 5's for sale in the girl section of the Under Armour website.

But that letter caused Stephen Curry to take notice of the problem and respond accordingly. Here's what he had to say when asked about it on Monday night, courtesy of ESPN NBA reporter Ohm Youngmisuk:

“It's all about trying to get better in terms of everything I represent. I'm trying to serve a lot of inspiration through the kicks I put out there, and that's kind of a vantage point that I hadn't really thought about. She opened my eyes – the company's eyes – to how to get better and make some quick changes because she spoke up. That's a lesson in itself right there.”

It's clear that her letter had a huge impact on Stephen Curry, as well as the possibilities for his brand moving forward. As for the Warriors star, he's still playing some very good basketball when he's not working on growing his company.

Stephen Curry is averaging 29.3 points to go along with 5.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season in helping lead the Warriors to a 16-9 start.

Next up for Golden State is a matchup in Cleveland on Wednesday night.
