Golden State Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry underwent a CT scan on his broken left hand. The three-time champion is having specialists take a closer look to determine whether or not it needs surgery, and he's awaiting the results, according to a report from Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Curry injured his hand while bracing for a fall in the third quarter of Wednesday night's 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns. While floating through the air on a driving attempt at the hoop, Curry bumped into two defenders, which caused his awkward fall. He managed to brace for impact, but Suns big man Aron Baynes incidentally landed on his wrist.

“Aron Baynes came up after the game and just wanted to know how Steph was doing,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told ESPN. “You could tell he felt really bad. It's just a random basketball play, so stuff happens.”

This is obviously a tough blow for the Warriors, who are currently holding a 1-3 record. Golden State is already without the services of Klay Thompson due to a knee injury, and now it seems Stephen Curry could miss time as well.

The Warriors will be back in action on Friday night, when they'll serve as hosts to the San Antonio Spurs. Tip-off inside the new Chase Center is set for 10:30 p.m. ET.

Hopefully, Curry will be able to recover sooner rather than later.
