The Oklahoma City Thunder’s disappointing season continued as they were demolished 121-108 to an Orlando Magic team that had lost eight games in a row. That loss sent the Thunder down to 8-12, 10th place in the Western Conference.
However, they still have a strong supporter in New York Knicks center Enes Kanter, who believes the Thunder are actually the best team in the West despite their sub-.500 record.

Obviously, Kanter’s not the most biased observer seeing as he became something of a cult hero during his two and a half years with the Thunder. Even though he’s no longer with the team, it’s no surprise that he’s still repping hard for Oklahoma City.
While the Thunder have the star names in Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and Carmelo Anthony as well as a top defense, things still haven’t clicked for them a quarter into the season, particularly on offense.
There’s still a lot of time for the Thunder to get their act together, but it’s starting to come to the point where it might be fair to wonder if they actually will. They might still be one of the best teams in the league if they live up to their full potential, but it's hardly the foregone conclusion that Kanter makes it out to be.
