Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers have won three straight playoff games to take a 3-2 lead over the Clippers in their opening round series.
The devastating injuries to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin certainly helped tip the series in Portland’s favor, but the Blazers, led by their leader Lillard, have fought the whole way through to earn the lead they currently have.
After Game 5, the first full game without Paul and Griffin suiting up for Los Angeles, Lillard commented about “no All-Stars” being on the court for either team.
