As the offseason heats up, Los Angeles Clippers fans have sent out their recruitment message to Kawhi Leonard of the Toronto Raptors.

Per Andrew Greif of the LA Times, two billboards were spotted in California which intends to recruit Leonard.

Prior to being sent to the Raptors, Leonard made it clear that he wants to play for LA — the city where he was born and raised. The deal didn't push through. But now that the free agency is right around the corner, the possibility of Leonard coming back home can become a reality.

The Los Angeles Lakers are seemingly out of the race of Leonard due to cap space concerns. This places the Doc Rivers-led Clippers as the favorite to land the two-time NBA Finals MVP. Teams can start negotiating with free agents on June 30, which means that we might have the answer very soon.

Leonard recently declined his 2019-20 player option with the Raptors. However, Toronto is reportedly the frontrunner to sign Leonard, thanks in large part to the treatment he received from the team and their recent NBA title run.

The Clippers are certainly not out of the race yet though, as they can still lure Leonard with the prospect of playing at home.
