The Los Angeles Clippers will have their defensive dynamo Patrick Beverley available against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center on Wednesday.
Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue confirmed the development, per ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly. The 32-year-old, who's been inactive for LA in their last eight games, will be in the starting five but will be under a minutes restriction.

Lue has been hopeful that Patrick Beverley will finally be back in his lineup after assessing where's he's at physically following a knee injury. The Clippers have certainly missed his services, so his return is undoubtedly a great boost for the team to begin a two-game road trip. The Clips are already shorthanded against the Wolves, as superstar Paul George is nursing a foot injury and did not travel with the team.
The injury bug hasn't been kind to Beverley, as he's only played in 16 of the Clippers' 25 games of the 2020-21 campaign so far. Prior to his injury, the 6-foot-1 lockdown defender was norming 8.1 points on 40.0 percent shooting from the field and 41.4 percent from deep, along with 4.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steal in around 25 minutes per game.
Bev's name has also been linked to multiple trade rumors, with reports that the Clips have already made him and Lou Williams available before the deadline next month. He is currently in the second year of the three-year, $39 million extension he signed last season.
The Clippers (17-8) have gone 4-4 in Beverley's absence and are looking to bounce back from two straight losses, a first for them so far this campaign. They currently ranked third in the Western Conference Standings.
