Playoff P is here. Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George came out swinging in Game 5 of their first-round match-up, as they blew out the Dallas Mavericks with a huge 154-111 win.
George lead the team with 35 points as the Clippers take the pivotal Game 5 victory. He finished the historic evening with a 12-of-18 shooting clip (50 percent from 3-point distance) and became the first player in NBA playoff history to score that much in 25 minutes or less since the Shot Clock Era began in 1954-55.

Paul George's recent play has been the subject of scrutiny over the past few days. In fact, some fans called him “Pandemic P” — a mockery of his self-proclaimed Playoff P nickname — because of how poor he has played earlier in the series.

Prior to Tuesday's game, George has only scored a combined 34 points in Games 2, 3 and 4. The Mavs won Games 2 and 4.
Fortunately for the Clippers, “Pandemic P” was nowhere to be found on Tuesday, as the six-time All-Star bounced back to silence all the haters.
Throughout the regular season, including the seeding games, PG averaged 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steal for the Clippers while shooting 43.9 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from deep. He appeared in a total of 48 games for the team, starting in all of them.
