To say the least, the Los Angeles Clippers have had a fascinating season.
Because Paul George and Kawhi Leonard haven't played much this season, it's been a fascinating ride for the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard is yet to play a game this season, while Paul George has only played in a couple of games due to injury.
There's no disputing that if this Clippers team is fully healthy, they will not only be a team capable of challenging other Western Conference teams, but they will also be a squad capable of winning an NBA championship. They have plenty of elite-scoring options on their roster and their role players are full of elite 3 and D players.
It'll be intriguing to watch what happens with the Clippers this season, but if they can reclaim at least one of their two stars, they should be able to beat anyone.
Let's take a look at the three teams who pose the greatest threat to the Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs.
Winning an NBA title is never easy. As we have seen with the past 20 champions, every team is going to need something significant to go their way. Whether that is an unfortunate injury to someone, or having guys on the roster step up more than they ever have. There is a reason why winning a championship is so hard, and a reason why we have seen crazy upsets in the past. If a team is going to win a title, they’re going to need everyone on their roster to be playing the best basketball they possibly can, and even sometimes that isn’t enough to get the job done. Matchups are always something that is going to play a major factor, and some teams just know how to get the job done against certain teams when it matters most.

The Biggest Threats To The Clippers In The Playoffs, Ranked
3. Lakers
Let's be real, the Los Angeles Lakers haven't had a very successful season. Honestly, they've sucked. They've merely been disappointing, but because they still have some of the guys they do on their roster, it's not impossible for them to turn things around. At the end of the day, if LeBron James and a couple of other key players stay healthy, the Lakers are nearly certain to find success.
However, given the magnitude of this rivalry, it may be a compelling series. If the Clippers can get both of their stars back(although it is unlikely that Kawhi Leonard will return), they must be quite confident in their ability to compete against not only the Lakers, but anyone in the NBA.
It will be an exciting series to watch if these two meet in the playoffs this year. The Lakers haven't played well this season, but if all three of their star players are healthy and Russell Westbrook can work out his issues, this is still a team that won't be easy to beat in the playoffs. No matter how awful they have been outside of LeBron James, beating them four out of seven times is never easy.
Article Continues Below2. Suns
At this time, the Phoenix Suns offer the biggest danger to any Western Conference club.
Obviously, the Clippers have guys who can make it tough on both Chris Paul and Devin Booker, but stopping guys like that is virtually impossible.
It will be interesting to see this series if fully healthy, at the moment, it's tough to say on either side who would win.
1. Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have been an intriguing team this season, to say the least. They've been one of the best teams in the NBA, but they aren't as dominant as they were when Draymond Green was on the court.
At this point, there is no definite timeline for Draymond Green's return, although it is likely that he will return soon. Golden State will likely win the Western Conference and only lose to a team like the Phoenix Suns(this season) if he can get healthy and play as he did before his injury. They were that good before Draymond Green was injured, and there's no reason to believe they won't be when he returns.
Any team that has to play against Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, or Andrew Wiggins is going to struggle. Klay Thompson seems to be rediscovering his swagger, while Andrew Wiggins has blossomed into an All-Star this season. Everyone knows what sort of production Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will produce, so Golden State remains a major threat to any Western Conference team.
The Clippers haven't had much success in the past against Stephen Curry, so they'll have to improve in the playoffs.
