Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers stormed to Staples Center to protest and let the team's management know that they've been disappointed with what's happening with the team.

However, while those who bleed Purple and Gold were airing their dissatisfaction with the Lakers, die-hard Los Angeles Clippers fan Clipper Darrell arrived to mock them during the protest.

Clipper Darrell has been a long-time supporter of the Clippers, and he just thought he'd drop by Staples Center to remind Laker fans that while their team has been struggling for six years, his team has been a consistent figure in the playoffs.

Of course, this was all fun and games. Laker fans were happy to see Clipper Darrell.

Not only are the Clippers the better team over the past five years, but they're also in a better position to land top-tier free agents this summer. They can make enough cap room to sign a combination between Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Klay Thompson and Kyrie Irving.

They Clips the more presentable and successful franchise at the moment, which gives them the advantage when they make their pitch to the cream of the free agent crop this summer.

Meanwhile, the Lakers will continue to bank on their history and championships once again, as they clearly have no clear plan about how to start winning again. There are also rumors that some of the best players that will be available wouldn't want to play for them because of several reasons.

Los Angeles will never be a Clippers town, but the balance in power is starting to go their way — something that the Lakers can't allow to happen, even if they're the more prominent franchise in the city.
