Los Angeles Lakers big man Montrezl Harrell is known to have a very active presence on social media.
He has opened up about a number of issues online, including his struggles dealing with the death of his grandmother from a year ago. Trez even drew support from the Lakers owner herself, Jeanie Buss, who wanted nothing more than to give one of her players a comforting hug to help him get through things.
We love you Montrezl ❤️ here is a hug until I can see you🤗 https://t.co/HsDh1ge1QS

For Mother's Day, Montrezl decided to dedicate a heartfelt Instagram post for his grandmother, complete with photos and a loving caption. But more than the post itself, it was his Lakers teammate Dennis Schroder who garnered attention for a rather puzzling comment.
Of course, as the internet is wont to do, they immediately got on the Lakers guard for his seemingly out-of-place reaction to Harrell's loving message to his grandmother.
I’m still tryna figure out why Dennis Schroder’s comment isn’t deleted yet pic.twitter.com/uCqMebbtFY

Nah how on earth this dude Schroeder comment “That’s Tuff🔥💯” on Trezz’s post about his mom who died

Although Schroder's actual comment looks to be deleted by now, that hasn't stopped random fans from invading the post and replicating the comment from the Lakers guard.
The resulting wave of those comments to immortalize Schroder's original one is just so ironic. The whole reason people took notice of it in the first place was because it sounded a bit tone deaf considering the mood of the post. But with everyone else piling on, things just got much worse instead.
Though the Lakers guard took an L for his initial comment, the online community definitely takes a much larger L than he did. Prayers and love for Montrezl Harrell and his dedication for his grandmother.
