By now, almost the entire galaxy knows who Luka Doncic is. His popularity surged even more after he joined the Los Angeles Lakers last season via a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks, which changed the entire landscape of the NBA.

But in an interview with The Wall Street Journal's Jason Gay, Doncic revealed some little-known facts about himself. For example, he briefly tried gymnastics when he was growing up. He said his best event was trampoline.

“Different tricks, flips,” said the Lakers guard.

He also said he wants to try shark fishing in California, and probably a teeny bit of acting on the side. After all, Doncic is in Hollywood now. Maybe he can even get some tips from LeBron James.

“Maybe some five-minute part. But I don’t really know if I can be an actor,” shared the 26-year-old Doncic, who starred in the latest commercial for NBA on Prime.

Speaking of which, he also admitted that he's a huge fan of “High School Musical,” the teenage movie that came out in 2006 and became a global phenomenon.

“I watched it probably 10-15 times. I liked the singing,” said the Slovenia-born Doncic. “I just watched that as a kid.”

Now that he has a kid of his own, the five-time All-Star pointed out that he's excited to get their two-year-old daughter into sports. But as Day wrote, Doncic “vows not to be a crazy one.”

“I don’t want to get involved. They have coaches. I think a lot of parents get too involved. I can’t wait to watch,” said the Lakers playmaker.

In the meantime, he is focused on entering his first full year with the Purple and Gold. He recently signed a three-year, $165 million contract extension, signaling his commitment to the Lakers and vice versa.

He has stayed busy in the offseason. After undergoing a physical transformation, he led Slovenia to the quarterfinals of the EuroBasket, while also setting multiple records.

Now that he's back in Los Angeles, he can relax for a while. Maybe he should watch “High School Musical.” It could be the start of something new.
