The microscope on NBA officiating is much more focused in the playoffs, as every call and non-call can have an enormous impact on the outcome of the most important games of the year.
The referees for the Charlotte Hornets–Miami Heat series have drawn a considerable amount of criticism so far from both sides. At the moment, it's the Heat and head coach Erik Spoelstra firing the shots.
During his press conference after Game 5, Spoelstra sounded off about the no-call on this Dwyane Wade layup attempt in the dying moments.

“From my vantage point, it certainly looked like Dwyane got fouled,” Spoelstra said, via Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post. “He got fouled.”
When coaches blatantly say that the officials missed a call, it often leads to fines from the league office. I don't think he cares too much about that right now.
Wade agreed with Spoelstra's sentiments.
“I haven't looked at it,” Dwyane said. “It’s pointless now. It ain't gonna change anything. I thought I did.”
If a foul had been called, Wade would've had the opportunity to shoot two free throws and send the game to overtime.
Now, the Heat have to take down the Hornets in Charlotte on Friday evening to force a Game 7.
