If there's one topic that Bam Adebayo truly likes to talk about, it's the Miami Heat. The outspoken big man always seizes the opportunity to express how proud he is of his squad. And how could he not be? The Heat remain atop the Eastern Conference with a 46-24 record.

The Heat's latest win came at the expense of the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, 105-98. Like they've done all season, the boys from South Beach employed a balanced attack, with seven players scoring at least six points each, led by guard Tyler Herro who had a game-high 29 points off the bench.

After the game, Adebayo, who contributed 16 points, eight rebounds, and three assists, was asked by reporters how good the Heat can still be. Of course, the All-Star center had the perfect response (via Bally Sports).

The 24-year-old Adebayo sure has supreme confidence in his crew. He's not far off in saying Herro could win as Sixth Man of the Year, but him being named as Defensive Player of the Year seems implausible, considering the number of games he missed. But yeah, there's no mistaking that Adebayo is the Heat's defensive anchor.

The Heat, under the tutelage of coach Erik Spoelstra, have definitely surprised observers this season. Not many expected them to be the top squad to come out of the Eastern Conference, but here they are, despite the slew of injuries and setbacks.

The Heat will have a few days off before taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.
