Dwyane Wade is one of the most popular players in the NBA. The three-time NBA champion was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2003 and has had a successful career since. Wade is commonly known as the best Heat to ever play. Rightfully so, Wade led the Heat to their first title in 2006 and won the Finals MVP award. He also played an instrumental role on the Heat's championship teams in 2012 and 2013.

Now, it appears that the days of championship glory is over for Wade as he is now settling into the Heat's lineup. Wade has been coming off of the bench since he returned to the Heat on Feb. 8. This move has freaked out head coach Erik Spoelstra, who stated that Wade's first game off the bench was weird, according to Ira Winderman of Sun Sentinel.

“The first game was weird,” Spoelstra related before Saturday night's game against the Detroit Pistons at AmericanAirlines Arena, “because I looked down there and I said, ‘Dwyane get in there,' and both Wayne [Ellington] and Dwyane looked up and both were ready to get into the game.

“But, also, I'd only coached one game before, I think the San Antonio game [in 2013-14], when he was coming back from an injury, we brought him back off the bench one game. But that certainly was unique for me. I was always used to him being in the starting lineup.”

Wade will likely continue to come off the bench for the remainder of the regular season. It doesn't seem like Wade is bothered by that at all. He looks relieved and at peace to be playing for his favorite organization again for what looks to be the twilight of his career.
