Jimmy Butler struggled from deep in the opener of the Miami Heat's first-round playoff match-up against the Milwaukee Bucks; however, he warned that the struggles won't last.

The Bucks were more than happy to let Butler shoot from beyond the arc, and it paid off big time as the veteran swingman made just two of his nine 3-point attempts. The Heat actually had a field day firing from long-distance –going 20-of-50 overall–but Butler had the second-most attempts from the team and the worst shooting percentage in that area for those with more than two tries.

After the game, however, Butler warned the Bucks that should they allow him to get nine 3-point shots, he'll start making them.

“Taking what they're giving. I might shoot nine next game as well. They will fall,” the Heat star claimed, per Brady Hawk of 5 Reason Sports.

For what it's worth, there's a reason the Bucks let Jimmy Butler shoot a lot of triples. Throughout the 2020-21 regular season, he shot 24.5 percent from deep–and the law of averages worked wonders for them given the result.

Of course, the Bucks still had a hard time against Butler, who banked the game-tying drive to the rim to send the game to overtime. Despite his poor shooting display, Butler was still able to make an impact on different areas of the game and almost led the Heat to victory had it not been for Khris Middleton's game-winner.

It looks like Butler will be working on his 3-point shots throughout Sunday in preparation for Game 2 on Monday. Hopefully for Heat fans, Jimmy Buckets returns with a bang.
