Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry will play in Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons, South Florida Sun Sentinel Heat reporter Ira Winderman wrote in a Sunday tweet.

Forward Nikola Jovic was upgraded to available.

Kyle Lowry sat out of Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls with a knee injury after being listed as questionable for the Eastern Conference showdown. The Bulls took a 113-99 victory over Miami in the United Center, taking the win over the Heat as six players scored in double-digits. Three Miami starters, center Bam Adebayo, forward Jimmy Butler and guard Tyler Herro, scored in double-digits for the Heat, while guard Max Strus earned 20 points in just under 31 minutes played off the bench.

Kyle Lowry was sidelined for over one month with knee pain before he played in just over 36 minutes against the Orlando Magic, where Orlando earned a 126-114 victory over the Heat in the Amway Center. Miami went 2-1 upon his return.

Center Cody Zeller was the only other player on ESPN's injury report. Zeller sat out of Saturday's game against Chicago with a nasal fracture. He has not taken the floor since the Heat's loss to the Magic.

Miami sits at a comfortable two-game lead over the Atlanta Hawks for seventh place in the East. The Hawks will play against the San Antonio Spurs in the AT&T Center on Sunday.

Forwards Isaiah Livers and Bojan Bogdanovic, along with guards R.J. Hampton and Alec Burks, were the most recent additions to the Pistons' injury report. Livers, Bogdanovic and Burks were all listed as “out” against the Heat with various injuries, while Hampton was listed as “questionable” with a back injury.

The Heat will tip off against the Pistons at 6 p.m. EDT on Sunday in Little Caesars Arena. The game will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Sun.
