Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro broke a record in the Heat organization. Tyler Herro is the only player in Miami Heat history to have two 30 point games off the bench in a season.

This is an impressive accomplishment for the young Heat player. He has shown this season that he can offer some valuable minutes off the bench and lead the second unit offensively.

Miami has played some decent basketball this season as they are 12-6 and in second place in the Eastern Conference. They will look to bounce back in the playoffs when the time comes after a disappointing four-game sweep to the eventual Champion Milwaukee Bucks. There are still some questions if Miami is good enough to compete with the Milwaukee Bucks and the other top team in the east such as the Brooklyn Nets. They made some additions this offseason that really improved their team, especially defensively.

Miami has been one of the better defensive teams this season. If they can continue playing defense like they are now, they will be a tough beat come playoff time.

They have gotten a lot of production from multiple guys this year. Tyler Herro is just one of the many guys stepping up for the Miami Heat. If he can continue this type of production it's going to make the Miami Heat even better come playoff time.

The Heat beat the Detroit Pistons 100-92 on Tuesday night and will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
