One of the most unforgettable moments for the Miami Heat this season has got to be the heated altercation between coach Erik Spoelstra and Jimmy Butler. Naturally, Udonis Haslem had to get involved and at one point, it looked like he was ready to throw it down against Butler right there and then.
Before anything else, here's another look at that infamous incident:

In a recent interview, Haslem spilled the beans on what was said between himself and Butler during their shouting match. Apparently, both men had the same thing in mind at that point in time:
“We both said we gon’ kick each other’s a–,” Haslem said, via Peter Dewey of Heat Nation. “I mean, it was just a situation – it’s an up and down last couple games, a lot of frustration, a lot of tension. We just trying to get the solution on how to win. I just wanted all of us to be on the same page, and as the captain, as a leader, it was just a situation where it could’ve gone either way.”
Fortunately, the two were separated by their Heat teammates and there was no butt-kicking that went down. It was a heat of the moment sort of thing and it appears that Haslem, Butler, Spoelstra, and the rest of the team have all put this incident behind them.

Now with the benefit of hindsight, Haslem also admitted that he could have acted in a more collected manner:
“I could’ve been a little more coolheaded,” Haslem said. “Jimmy could have been a little more coolheaded. But I don’t think either one of us regret that situation because you look at the basketball we playing now.”
This is now all water under the bridge for the Heat. Right now, their focus is on the playoffs as they look to challenge for the title this season.
