Tuesday evening will mark the end of an era in South Beach. Longtime Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade will be playing his final regular season NBA game at home on Tuesday evening as the Eastern Conference franchise takes on the Philadelphia 76ers. As a result, Wade's son, Zaire, had a brief yet direct message for his father before the start of Tuesday evening's affair in Miami.

“I expect you to go out with at least 50 points, nothing less,” the up-and-coming Wade told the team's broadcast prior to tip-off, via ClutchPoint's own Tomar Azarly. “Thank you for giving me the blueprint for how i need to be in a few years. I'm gonna take that and I'm gonna do it.”

Of course, Wade has become of the best player in NBA history along the way while spending the majority of his playing career in Miami as a member of the Heat. Briefly spending time with both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers, Wade's tenure in Miami spanned between 2003 and 2016 in addition to 2018 through 2019. The 37-year-old two-guard most notably helped lead the Heat to a trio of NBA Championships with those titles coming in 2006, 2012 and 2013.

Wade was originally selected by the Heat in the first round of the 2003 NBA Draft out of Marquette. He came off the board to Miami at No. 5 overall while Wade might not have even made it that far had the world known the type of NBA career that he would go on to encounter in the end.
