Despite the Miami Heat being eliminated from the playoffs this year, Dwyane Wade had what was perhaps the most memorable game of the season in his “One Last Dance.”

Sure, the Heat won and Wade scored 30 points, including a dunk in the game’s first possession. Just like the Dirk Day occurring in Dallas, Miami pulled out all the stops to honor the best player in franchise history.

There were video tributes and each Heat player brandished a Wade jersey after the game was over. Wade did a jersey swap with his own son, Zaire, who will likely be in the NBA quite soon.

After the game was over, Wade hopped up onto the scorers table to bask in all the applause and adulation from an adoring Miami crowd. He hopped back down to grab a microphone, then attempted to get back onto the scorer’s table, but then… hilarity ensued.

Dwyane Wade knows how to put on a show both on and off the court, but even if you’re being honored in a showcase game for your illustrious career, the “Shaqtin’ a Fool” bug can always catch you.

Despite him falling, this game clearly meant a lot to Wade — just as he meant a lot to the city of Miami and Heat fans all over the world. This was as fitting a way as any for Wade’s One Last Dance to end in South Beach.
