The NBA regular season ends on Wednesday night and there is still so much to decide in terms of the playoffs, especially in the Western Conference.
The biggest game to be played on Wednesday night will take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The Denver Nuggets will face off with the Minnesota Timberwolves in a winner takes all game. According to Reddit, this is the first winner take all regular season NBA game since 1988.
“The last time the winner of a game was guaranteed a playoff spot and the loser was guaranteed to miss the playoffs was in 1988, when the 37-44 Knicks beat the 37-44 Pacers in the last game of their seasons. In other words this is arguably the most meaningful regular season game since 1988!”
The Nuggets come into the game riding a six-game winning streak, but if you look at the rest of the stats, they side with the Timberwolves.

The Wolves have an impressive 24-6 record at home when Jimmy Butler plays and Bulter looks like he is getting back to his form from before the injury.
Last week when the two teams played in Denver the Nuggets came out ahead 100-96 but Butler was still out of that game with an injury.
This should be a great game that should be the cherry on top of a great day of basketball with the winner moving into the playoffs, and the losing team getting their golf clubs ready.
