The All-Star Game is only weeks from happening, and the fans are all excited to see the All-Star starters play each other. However, it's likely that great players like Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert will not get the honor of being named a starter as there is only one slot given for centers.

Anthony Davis understandably got the nod over Gobert, but that doesn't mean that he won't be able to make the game. Boston Celtics center Enes Kanter called for the team's coaches to do right by the “Stifle Tower” and get him into the All-Star game.

Gobert has shown off throughout the season that he more than deserves being named an All-Star center. His season averages are outstanding at 15.6 points, 14.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.0 blocks every game. He's a key component to Quin Snyder's game plan with the Jazz, and his interiors defense doesn't allow opponents to score easily off him.

His quality shines all the more when he plays against the best teams in the West. He is one of the main reasons why the Jazz triumphed over the Dallas Mavericks, 112-107. He had an incredible stat line of 22 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, and five blocks. His interior defense stopped Luka Doncic and the rest of the Mavs from getting the W.

Given his impact on the team, it's quite surprising that Rudy Gobert is yet to be named to an All-Star team yet. His production over the past couple of years would have easily merited him into one if he was with a more successful team. However, the coaches and players should do right by him and shoo him into the game.
