European star Luka Doncic has submitted paperwork to officially enter the 2018 NBA Draft, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
Doncic, who is currently 19 years old, is playing in the postseason in the Euroleague for Real Madrid right now. The Slovenian-born swingman is projected to be one of the top picks.
Doncic is averaging this season 15.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from downtown. With increased attempts, he's seen his 3-point percentage decline this season but career he hits at a bit higher of a clip just a tad over 33 percent.

It will be interesting to see where Doncic ends up in the NBA Draft. He has been projected as the top pick in the past but that spot seems to be reserved for DeAndre Ayton of Arizona now. Of course, once the NBA Lottery is set and we know who is picking where, we will be able to get a better feel for where Doncic might end up.
Doncic stands 6-foot-6 and has the size to be a 2 or 3 while one of his most anticipated skills for the NBA is his playmaking. He likely won't ever be a true point guard but those skills could see him running the offense from time to time.
