NBA players have been posting non-stop about their “bubble-related” activities since entering the Disney World facilities in Orlando, Florida earlier this month.
While the amount of content can indeed be overwhelming for most people, a group of NBA reporters and writers decided to collate all the glorious material under one Twitter account.
The handle @NBABubbleLife has been blowing up as of late, reposting all the photos and videos from NBA and WNBA players' social media feeds while inside the bubble.
Fans have since been speculating as to whom runs the account, especially since several NBA-credentialed media are also inside the bubble.
Turns out, the now popular Twitter account is a collective 4-man effort between Drew Ruiz (formerly of Slam Online), Nick DePaula (ESPN), Travonne Edwards (The Athletic), and DJ Wells P.

Nick DePaula also bared how the group decided to push through with the idea, starting with Los Angeles Lakers guard JR Smith's IG live shenanigans. The newly-signed Laker guard was reportedly flagged by the league for “sharing too much” on his Instagram page.
Here’s the group chat texts from last Thursday that started @NBAbubbleLife:
10:07 – “Yo Drew…”
10:11 – “Let’s run it”
10:12 – “Setting it up now”
10:56 – Drew’s 1st post about JR Smith’s IG Live getting shut down 🤣🤣Have an idea. Fire it up. Get after it. pic.twitter.com/JcJMY9Q14u

Following the league's new protocols in the aftermath of the lengthy COVID-19 hiatus, fans now have even more limited access to their favorite athletes. While following the players' own accounts is also a good idea, it's hard to keep track of all the latest content happening almost instantaneously.
The NBABubbleLife account, meanwhile, already has more than 107,000 followers (and counting) since its inception a few weeks ago. We can expect the account to gain even more following in the coming days, especially with the continuation of the 2019-20 season set on July 30.
