The presidential election is going down the wire. Though nothing's set in stone just yet, by the looks of it, Democratic candidate Joe Biden appears to be on his way to ousting incumbent President Donald Trump from his post. Social media had been relentless in using this development as an opportunity to come out with some of the most creative (and hilarious) memes we've ever come across in a while.
We've compiled some of the best of them here for your viewing pleasure.
For starters, one user decided to place some choice background music on a CNN coverage report. The race has been so thrilling that the NFL Primetime music fits just right.

Most of the memes centered around how Biden has mounted an upset against Trump in what has previously been a solid red state in Georgia:

Similar upsets appear to be well on their way in the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and clearly, the internet is having a field day about it:

Some internet detectives even got a hold of some breaking news about the First Lady, Melania Trump, opting not to vote for his own husband. The commander-in-chief was not pleased:
Last but not least, we have the infamous LeBron James meme pertaining to how he led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a miraculous comeback after being 3-1 down in the Finals against the Golden State Warriors back in 2016. They put Biden in the place of LeBron, and it was perfect.
To be clear, the count is still ongoing, and a Biden win has yet to be confirmed. It appears to be heading in this direction, though, and the internet is having a blast at the expense of Donald Trump.
