The Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder took part in one of the more controversial trades of the offseason, with Paul George going to OKC for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis. That trade was largely panned for the Pacers’ inability to get much more for George.
However, it has actually turned out much better than anyone could’ve imagined for Indiana, as Oladipo has emerged into a star this season while the Thunder have struggled with George. But despite people praising how Oladipo and the Pacers have proven everyone wrong, Dipo would rather see the comparisons with George and the Thunder come to an end.
This from #Victor Oladipo, on the trade that brought him to #Pacers – "I'm kind of getting sick and tired of the comparisons with Paul George and myself. He's moved on. I moved on. I'm happy here, he's happy there. I wish him all the best. I'm feathery, right here as a Pacer."

As much as Oladipo would like everyone to move on like he has, it's not quite that easy. Because of the circumstances of the trade and what's happened in the immediate aftermath, it's only natural for people to see how and why things have gone down the way they did. And naturally, they will gravitate toward the two main players the deal, him and George.
However, it is understandable for him to want to move past that phase of his career. He seems pretty happy in Indiana, where he's having a career year. He'd much rather look forward to the future and see what he can accomplish with his new team as opposed to dwelling back to the past.
