The party that's being mentioned is the one held by Russell Westbrook. Dubbed as a summer hype party, it's easy to look at Westbrook's event as something that is directly attached to his teammate's free agency. In fact, guests at the said gathering were required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
George can earn the most money if he elects to remain in Oklahoma City. Meanwhile, his hometown Lakers are also aggressively pursuing his services, hoping for a dream tandem with another free agency target of theirs in LeBron James.
Initially believed as a one-year rental after being acquired in a trade with the Indiana Pacers last summer, George has reportedly grown comfortable in Oklahoma City and his blossoming chemistry with former MVP Russell Westbrook only helps the cause.
