Somebody alert Brian Cardinal because Detroit Pistons power forward Anthony Tolliver is apparently eyeing his title of “The Custodian.”

During a break in the third quarter of Saturday’s road game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Tolliver grabbed a mop and used some of his unused adrenaline by helping the crew of Wells Fargo Center maintain the pristine condition of the stadium’s flooring by wiping some sweat off of the hardwood.

It gets funnier when Sixers guard J.J. Redick appeared to instruct Anthony Tolliver and gang to clean another spot near the baseline. Tolliver then obliged and continued to scrub the floor as though his next contract depends on how squeaky clean the arena’s playing surface would be.

Tolliver, who is averaging just 6.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, is currently on a one-year deal with the Pistons, and while his agent can’t use the former Creighton Bluejay’s mopping skills on the negotiation table, it might have made Tolliver thinking of a second career.
