With C.J. McCollum now playing for the Portland Trail Blazers, many may not know that he is an Ohio native, and grew up cheering for the professional sports teams representing Cleveland and the state; that also includes the NFL's Cleveland Browns.

Two weeks into the current NFL season, the AFC North team has dropped their first two assignments, and are in last place in their division with a 0-2 record. However, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard took to his Twitter account recently to let his followers know that he still believes in the team. He also made it known that he will continue to cheer for them despite their lack of success so far.

The Browns may have started really slow, but there have been a number of teams in the past who were in even worse situations, but still managed to turn around their campaigns. McCollum understands that it’s not the end of the road for his team yet this year, and is hopeful that they can start winning soon.

The good news for the Browns is it’s still early days into the season, and they still have a lot of games left. For what it’s worth, a professional athlete with the stature of McCollum has already publicly said that he has not lost faith in them, which could also fire up the Cleveland faithful to cheer even louder in their upcoming games to rally the team to victories.
