The offseason means plenty of free time for NBA stars to do non-basketball related activities. Toronto Raptors swingman DeMar DeRozan checked one box this Saturday, as he led the USC Trojans football team out of the tunnel for a showdown with Pac-12 rival, the Stanford Cardinals, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

McKenna Keil of NFL Network shares a video on her Twitter account, showing DeRozan sprinting into the field with the entire Trojans squad behind him. It was only fitting for the Trojans to have a celebrity alumnus lead them with Stanford also having comedian and actor Will Ferrell showing them the way to the turf.

As of this writing, it appears as though DeRozan has inspired the Trojans more than Ferrell has to Stanford with USC leading by almost three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

DeRozan played for just one year at USC during the 2008-09 season, when he averaged 13.9 points per game across 35 contests.
