Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam was pretty much a non-factor from beyond the arc last season, as he hit just one three-pointer in seven attempts during his rookie year. However, TSN's Josh Lewenberg reports that Siakam has made a “tweak” to his three-point shot over the summer, and that he’s starting to get excited about unleashing it this season.
Pascal Siakam said he tweaked his 3-point shot some this summer & is seeing the results. "It's come a long way, man… I'm getting excited"

Siakam was a surprising contributor for the Raptors as a rookie last season. The No. 27 overall pick averaged 4.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game over 55 games, and made 38 starts at power forward.

With Tucker and Patrick Patterson both leaving in free agency, Siakam should have a big part to play as Ibaka’s primary backup at power forward this season.
If Siakam's “tweaked” shot does translate and he can provide a legitimate threat from three-point range, that should be a promising development for the Raptors, who need to make up for the shooting they lost with Patterson and Tucker at that position.
