Ever since San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox signed a four-year, $229 million extension, he's been a bit more vocal, especially after his latest dunk on social media. This comes after Fox called out Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green for being the league's biggest whiner. Perhaps the long-term commitment has given him a boost of confidence heading into his first full season with the Spurs.

Coming off a season-ending injury, Fox showed he can still fly by pulling off a windmill dunk off an alley oop pass and sent a message to the NBA, per Spurs reporter Jeff Garcia.

“Tell them boys I still got bounce,” Fox said after the dunk.

Fox's season ended in March after suffering a tendon injury in his left pinkie. Now, the veteran point guard and Spurs All-Star Victor Wembanyama will soon approach their first training camp together.

2014 Spurs champion Danny Green discussed De'Aaron Fox and Victor Wembanyama ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. The returning champion Thunder will defend its title against Kevin Durant and the Rockets, Nikola Jokic and an improved Nuggets roster, the Timberwolves, and other Western Conference teams looking to make a stride in their deveolpment. The Spurs could be one of those teams.

Green addressed the Spurs' Fox and Wembanyama duo and the supporting cast around them via ESPN's First Take.

“I'm looking at the Spurs. I wanna see a healthy Wemby and De'Aaron Fox. We never got a chance to get them at full strength last year,” Green said. “Obviously, everybody's interested in what KD looks like, too. For me, it's that duo and seeing how Wemby bounces back from that blood clot issue, and De'Aaron Fox from his surgery. They have a great, good core around them. They just drafted Dillon Harper. They have Stephon Castle.

“They have so many good, young pieces. Vassell. You got Keldon Johnson over there. Jeremy Sohan. They have a really great young core. I think they can be one of those teams that turns around fully and, obviously they were a lottery team this past year, but going from that to being a top six seed in the west,” Green concluded.

In light of his recent dunk on social media, safe to say Fox is ready for the upcoming season.
