The Philadelphia 76ers were hoping to stay in the win column following a clutch overtime victory on Tuesday night. However, they faced a stiff test in an Oklahoma City Thunder team still looking to find its footing with their newly-acquired “Big 3.”

Needless to say, it was an eventful night for both teams in the first triple overtime game of the 2017-18 NBA season. Among the notable highlights was this heated exchange between budding superstar Joel Embiid and superstar Carmelo Anthony, via Streamable:

Embiid has become one of the NBA's best trash-talkers and it seems no one is safe. He recently came off a night where he and Minnesota Timberwolves budding superstar center Karl-Anthony Towns got into a little social media spat of their own. That said, Anthony is certainly not as laid-back as Towns was during the game as he made sure to return the favor.

He brought the same approach on Friday night against the Thunder. Embiid was relentless on the floor with yet another stellar outing in which he recorded a career-high 49 minutes. However, he was unable to pull out the win this time around, meaning ‘Tro-el' Embiid will have to find another way to do his work on social media.
