Carmelo Anthony just wants to figure out what's wrong with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After a recent home loss to the Charlotte Hornets — a team that had only won a single road game before heading to OKC — the Thunder's star players were looking for answers. And Anthony sounded as perplexed as anyone.

Anthony said the team knows what it needs to do, but it just doesn't always do it, per Royce Young of ESPN.

“I think for the most part we know what we want to do, how we want to play,” Anthony said. “When we stick to that script, we're a helluva team to beat. We put a lot of fear in teams when we play the right way, when we do the right things, when we execute what we have to execute offensively and defensively. We show why we're one of the top teams out there. And then there's spurts when we don't do that, and we show some cracks in our armor, [and] the questions start coming. ‘Are we really that good of a team?' ‘What do we have to do?'”

Anthony, Paul George and Russell Westbrook are three superstar players that have been tasked to figure the best play to play together. So far this season, that has not happened.

With the expectations so high, it's no wonder the team is having difficulty figuring itself out. While it's still early in the season, time is definitely running out.
