In NBA.com's survey polling all 30 NBA general managers, the select few responded to 47 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, and offseason moves. The GMs favored the Oklahoma City Thunder's Paul George as the acquisition that will have the biggest impact in this season, coming in a winner with a strong 59 percent, trailed by Jimmy Butler of the Minnesota Timberwolves at 17 percent, Chris Paul of the Houston Rockets at 10 percent, and Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics at 7 percent.

These GMs were not allowed to vote for their own team or personnel. The percentages shown are purely based on the pool of respondents who answered that particular question, rather than a total from the 30 polled executives.

George's move was not only one of the most surprising due to the quickness in nature in which it happened, but also by the quality of impact of adding a star two-way player that can play three different positions on the floor and impact play from different sides of the ball.

The Thunder got even better as the preseason approached by snatching Carmelo Anthony only days before the New York Knicks' Media Day and forming a three-headed beast that can match firepower with some of the West's best.
