Fans of Russell Westbrook have a lot of reason to celebrate since last year as he has been named the league's MVP, breaking the NBA's triple-double record, and has recently led the turnaround of the Oklahoma City Thunder after their very slow start to the campaign.
Now, they will have even more reason to be excited as photos of what could be The Brodie's first signature shoe have surfaced, via Brendan Dunne of Sole Collector. It comes in two colorways, with his famous catchphrase “Why not?” on its tongue.

It is still unclear if this will indeed be Russell Westbrook's first signature kicks, as according to US11, the model is named Jordan Fly Next. However, the black and red colorway shows his initials also in the tongue area, leading many to believe it is going to be the Westbrook 1s.
With a lot of stars in the league having their own shoe lines, the Thunder's superstar is already due to have his own launched soon. Russell Westbrook re-signed with Jordan Brand back in September for 10 more years, and it will be very interesting to find out how many they will make for the reigning MVP over that span.
