Russell Westbrook added another achievement to his already impressive list on Monday during their Christmas Day matchup versus the Houston Rockets. By finishing with 31 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists, he is now on top of the list for the most points scored wearing an Oklahoma City Thunder jersey, according to StatMuse.

Westbrook surpassed the previous mark held by Kevin Durant, which was at 15,942.

Since being drafted fourth overall back in 2008, the reigning MVP has spent his entire career with the Thunder, which moved to Oklahoma City from Seattle that same year. Kevin Durant was able to play for the SuperSonics in his rookie season, where he established himself as a rising star in the league at that time.

With a new contract secured before the season started, Russell Westbrook will continue to be part of the Thunder for at least four more years, should he not be traded. That said, he will have the opportunity to further increase his lead on their scoring list, and become the team's greatest, as well as one of the best players in NBA history.
