It’s hard to stay positive in Oklahoma City these days with the Thunder struggling to get their act together. However, Russell Westbrook is trying. The reigning MVP had quite a light-hearted media session as he was dancing to “The Emotions” while answering the media’s questions.
Westbrook kept the positive vibes going when asked about former teammate and current Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo.

Unfortunately, Oladipo wasn’t quite able to be as aggressive as he’s been this season during his lone year at Oklahoma City. He averaged 15.9 points and 2.6 assists in his role as Westbrook’s main running mate, and likely would’ve had similar numbers this year had he stayed. Obviously, though, he’s found a much better situation for himself in Indiana, where he has thrived.
It’s nice that Westbrook feels happy for his old backcourt mate, but it would be nicer if he too can find a way to thrive with his new Thunder teammates and help make them better, something that didn't quite happen while playing with Dipo.
