After a mediocre first season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, rumor has it that Paul George is not looking to re-sign with the team.
As posted by Reddit user forfunzi, sports journalist Ryen Russillo claimed that a source told him that George does not intend to re-sign with the Thunder.
Below is the transcript of the interview in part, as posted by Sports Illustrated:

To L.A.?
Russillo: “I don’t know where. It’s a ‘He’s gone’ deal.”
I heard (ESPN reporter) Royce Young say George thinks he’s leaning toward staying. George made it seem in the press conference after Game 6 that he genuinely was torn and maybe even wanted to stay…
While it is just a rumor, there can be no doubts about it. The Thunder simply underperformed despite having George, Carmelo Anthony, and Russell Westbrook in their line up.
They were considered to be the next big three, akin to that of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat. Or even Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett for the Boston Celtics. But as everyone observed, the Thunder did not have a big three.
The team, had in fact, good moments in the regular season. They had great wins which displayed how each of the superstars could co-exist. But most of the time, the seeming lack of chemistry was apparent.
The next question is where will George be headed? Rumors have pointed towards the Los Angeles Lakers, who not only can accommodate his talents, but is also close to home as George himself is a Californian.
