Oklahoma City Thunder superstar point guard Russell Westbrook is known for being one of the most explosive players in the league. However, even the freakishly athletic Westbrook has his occasional moments of mortality.

The reigning MVP is adamant about helping teammates off the floor when the situation presents itself. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned this time after he somehow slipped while trying to help up superstar forward Paul George early in the third quarter of the Thunder's game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fortunately, no one was hurt and Russell Westbrook can even be seen laughing off his gaffe. Needless to say, that would be the only time he would slip up in the Thunder's dominant 133-96 win over the Lakers.

Westbrook finished with 20 points on an efficient 10-of-17 shooting. He also managed to pour in 12 assists and grab six rebounds while only playing 28 minutes thanks to the large lead.

The blowout victory was just what the Thunder needed in order to get back into the win column after a two-game skid at home. Meanwhile, it is clear that Russell Westbrook has taken back his central role within the offense after an inauspicious start to the 2017-18 season. Oklahoma City will look to keep it going Thursday night versus the L.A. Clippers.
