Toronto Raptors star Fred VanVleet may have just returned to the lineup after a lengthy absence from COVID-19, but he's already hitting big shots.
In a marquee matchup with the NBA's best Utah Jazz on Friday night, VanVleet received an in-bound pass from Kyle Lowry with just under a second left in the first half. Mr. bet on yourself instantly chucked up a crazy circus shot from just inside the halfcourt line, which banked off the glass and put the Raptors within one heading into halftime.

Toronto has been hurting lately though, heading into Friday's contest on a six-game losing streak. VanVleet and Pascal Siakam both missed time due to the virus, along with another first unit mainstay in OG Anunoby.
But for the first time in a while, Nick Nurse finally has a completely healthy roster at his disposal as the Raptors look to turn things around and make a run at a play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.
VanVleet will certainly play a key part in their success, currently averaging 19.9 points and 6.5 assists per night, which leads the team.
The Raptors are giving the Jazz a serious run for their money right now as they're up by a few points late in the third quarter.
