Mike Conley will return to the Utah Jazz’s starting lineup on Saturday against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Conley will replace small forward Royce O’Neale in the Jazz's starting five:

Conley has appeared in only 28 games this season. The lefty is averaging 12.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 37.7 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from beyond the arc and 78.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The Jazz are 17-11 with Conley in the lineup and 32-16 overall on the season.

Conley signed a five-year, $152.6 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies in the summer of 2016. He’s making $32,511,623 this season and has a player option worth $34,502,130 for next season, an option he will surely pick up since he won’t make that type of money on the open market.

Utah lost to the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs last season. The Jazz need Conley to play better as the season moves along. They will need the veteran to play at a near-All-Star level once the playoffs start so star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell doesn’t have to do everything on offense.

Conley switched agents and joined CAA in November. He is now in the same agency as Mitchell and O’Neale.
