A security video, presumably showing KGO TV sports anchor Mike Shumann stealing a jacket of a Golden State Warriors’ official at AT&T Center last week, has surfaced.
The Warriors had exited the building, but a few people remained in the premises, Shumann (in a red shirt and black shorts) picks up a stranded jacket and leaves the arena with it.

The jacket belongs to Ralph Walker, Warriors director of team security. KGO contacted Shumann as soon as the station caught wind of the security footage and has since been investigating the incident, according to Gary Peterson of the San Jose Mercury News.

Warriors forward Draymond Green was the only player to speak of the incident, despite the organization not presenting either a statement or comment on the matter.
“I haven’t seen the video,” Green said. “We’ve got a great security staff. They did their stuff and found out what happened. It’s unfortunate because what it boils down to, it’s a jacket. But I think more so it’s the principle. You’re in your own space. You want to return to your own jacket.”
“If I have a dollar sitting here, a dollar’s a dollar. But it’s my dollar. I wouldn’t expect no one to take it. We’ve got a great front office, and a great media-public relations staff. They’ll figure it all out.”
According to an ESPN report, some of the Warriors players have refused to do interviews with KGO after the incident, according to Connor LeTourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle.
