Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has seen his teammates in the trainer's room more often than in the practice court in recent days, with the All-Star core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant now nursing injuries that are bound to sideline them for an extended period.
Curry is still out for another two games with a sprained right ankle (pending re-evaluation), Thompson will be checked on Thursday to see the state of his fractured thumb, while Durant suffered cartilage damage on his ribs and could miss a couple of weeks with injury.
Just like that, the Warriors have dropped like pins one after the other, tumbling into head physician Chelsea Lane's trainer's room with these injuries. But Green isn't pressing the panic button just yet despite a recent 98-93 loss to the Sacramento Kings.
“Right now, we're in a position where I think all three guys could play if they had to, but it's just not that important for them to play,” said Green said, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic. “It's more important for them to be healthy.”

The Warriors received Green and David West back against the Kings, but saw Omri Casspi suffer yet another right ankle injury, building on an injury-plagued season for the Israeli international.
Golden State is seemingly limping to the finish line with a massive advantage over the third-place Portland Trail Blazers, but the organization has remained committed to prioritizing health coming into the postseason.
“All these injuries seem to be temporary,” head coach Steve Kerr said. “A couple weeks, a week, two weeks, whatever. We're in good shape. We just gotta survive this next slate of games and then get some guys back.”
The Warriors looked thin offensively against the Kings without 70-plus points of offense in their lineup, and will need a major improvement against another bottom-dwelling team in the Phoenix Suns, which they'll face tonight.
