The Golden State Warriors are coming off a dominating stretch in this year's playoffs that saw them post a nearly unblemished record on the way to their second NBA title in the last three seasons.
Golden State has constructed an incredibly deep and talented roster that has led to them already being listed as the heavy favorites to repeat as NBA champions next season.
Former NBA head coach and current ESPN commentator Jeff Van Gundy took that a step further during a recent interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio by stating that he believes the Warriors will continue to win NBA titles as long as their roster remains in tact.

The front office has put together a roster that is headlined by four All-Stars that includes two former league MVPs in Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. On top of that, each of them is in the prime of their respective careers in their late 20s.
This has shifted the entire league to chase after them that resulted in a plethora of moves being made in the NBA offseason to better position themselves to compete with the Warriors. Even with that being the case, it is hard to imagine at this point a single team pushing them to the limit.
However, this why the season is played as teams such as the Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics could be their biggest challenges. It's something that only time will tell if it can be the case for any of these respective organizations. Until then, the Warriors remain head and shoulders above the rest of the league.
