The explosion at Staples Center during and after an overtime loss to the LA Clippers saw two close friends in Draymond Green and Kevin Durant exchange fiery words in an altercation that could have divided the Golden State Warriors. But Durant wasn’t buying that it’s uncontrollable. He’s seen Green control it. He’s seen him keep his composure in the crucible of championship stakes. He’s seen him locked in and focused, forcing his emotions to submit to his will.

Their relationship was quickly back to where it was once, as the two celebrated a fast-break dunk over the Houston Rockets with a backhand double-tap, a signature mark of their friendship, in their first game back together.
