In the third meeting this season between this season between the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder, things have continued to stay on the path of being quite physical and chippy. This has only further heightened the intensity level on both sides on nearly every possession of the contest.

This was the case Saturday night with Carmelo Anthony's involvement in a couple of instances. One of which came midway through the third quarter after he was fouled by Draymond Green on a drive to the basket that led to Anthony throwing down his headband in frustration after getting tapped on the head by Green on the block attempt.

There appeared to be no ill intent on Green's behalf as the momentum looked to carry his arm all the way through to hit Anthony's head. This was further clarified by him not approaching the Thunder forward in a manner that would suggest he wanted to get physical as he was only visibly upset that he was called for the foul on the play. What gave Green some justice for what he believed wasn't a foul was that Anthony missed the first free throw attempt.

Meanwhile, former All-Star forward's emotions could have already been running high as he was involved in a bit of a shoving match with Kevin Durant earlier in the game. Anthony and Durant exchanged words and had to be separated from each other on the court to settle things down after they came close face to face.

This sequence seemed to have turned the game in the Warriors' favor after Anthony split the free throws as they finished the quarter on a 14-0 run that provided them with the cushion to cruise to a comfortable win in the fourth quarter. All of this should make for a must-see matchup later this season on April 3 at Chesapeake Energy Arena that could have playoff implications at stake.
