Entering the game against the Spurs, Golden State has season averages of 11.7 three-pointers made on 29.8 three-point shots attempted. That translates to a 39.2 shooting percentage from long range, the best clip in the entire league. Thompson is making 3.2 threes per game on 45. percent shooting, while Durant drains 2.6 per game on 42.0 success rate. The video clip does not show two-time league MVP Stephen Curry joining Thompson and Durant in their shootout, but do we really need to see him there to know how deadly he is from the three-point region? Curry is pacing Golden State with 4.2 three-pointers game on an exceptional 41.7 percent shooting percentage.
Having said all of that, Thompson, Durant, and Curry are more than just one-dimensional offensive players, as each of them is capable of burying baskets on nearly every part of the basketball court – even when the lights are out.
