The Michigan State football team was embarrassed at home by in-state rival Michigan 49-0 in East Lansing this past Saturday. Prior to the game, talk centered around the Wolverines' sign stealing investigation. After the game the Wolverines' blowout of Michigan State football, along with the display of an Adolf Hitler graphic on the scoreboard, were discussed by fans and the media.

The Spartans released a bombshell admission just before the game that had fans questioning whether they would play or not. The Spartans issued an official apology over the Hitler graphic, which was accompanied by a trivia question, but the image remains seared into the memories of Spartans and football fans everywhere.

Michigan State football has since issued an apology over the graphic, Earvin ‘Magic' Johnson, arguably MSU's most famous alumnus, has shared his thoughts on the embarrassment it has caused for the team and university.

Michigan State decided to cut ties with the third-party company responsible for the trivia question.

“Bro can you narrow down which disappointment you are referring to it’s been a busy few days,” one fan said in response.

“Magic we need to nail this Head Coaching hire. It's time to start acting like a program that cares about football too,” another fan said.

Michigan State football is set to take on Minnesota in Minneapolis this coming week. Interim coach Harlon Bennett will lead the Spartans, who are still conducting a search to decide on who their next coach is or perhaps whether Bennett will be retained.
